This is American Mah Jongg competition, through and through.
Beautiful traditional tournament tiles, timed rounds, and
NMJL rules create the setting for competitive play.

City Mahj kicks off in Charlotte on September 27th, then travels to a collection of cities before the season culminates in Charleston with the two-day National Mah Jongg Championship with the largest prizes known and something extra special for our first National Champion.

Play with Purpose
We believe a great game can do some good. Through our City Mahj tournaments, our goal is to contribute $30,000 this year to ARDS Alliance, supporting those affected by Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
This cause is especially close to our hearts. Allie lost her husband, Eric, to ARDS in May 2025, and we honor his memory by helping support the work of ARDS Alliance.
